My latest spur-of-the-moment project- a Jack Frost hoodie!

I was wearing this hoodie yesterday and I thought “Hmm, this is similarly colored to Jack’s.” So this happened. I know his doesn’t have a zipper, but I really wanted to do it, so I did it anyway.

I used Tulip Slick fabric paint in white and Tulip Glitter fabric paint in silver. Originally I wanted to use Tulip Soft so it would be flatter and less stiff, but they only had the Slick at Wal-Mart, so I took what I could get.

I started brushing on the glitter paint with a sponge-brush thing, but that started to crumble apart, so I switched to a paintbrush. The paintbrush worked better anyway I think.

I started it last night somewhere between midnight and 1AM and worked on it until about 2. I started working on it again this morning around 10AM and finally finished around 4PM. Most of that time was spent waiting for the paint to dry.

I’m quite proud of it. I know there are much better ones out there, but I’m still impressed with myself for managing to make it as well as I did.
